It’s been such a long time away from this space and my other creative outlets.
Life has definitely taken me on a rocky ride with sometimes great views.
I “dropped out” of an academic program and started a new one in line with the career I’ve built over the last 4 years. Maybe someday, I’ll talk about this in detail.
But right now, I feel good about my decisions, proud of myself for being brave, and grateful for the support I’ve received to make my wildest dreams come true.
I arrived at my new school a few days ago and after taking a breather, I knew I needed to start writing again. The last two years have been spent on commercial writing — working hard to meet deadlines, trying to fulfil my OKRs and more technical stuff.
I’ve missed writing creatively, wielding language and making it sing for me. In fact, I’m considering getting back into fiction writing again, even if it’s just for my eyes only.
I updated this site today and refreshed my about page. I’m not making any promises and honestly, this attempt is for an audience of one; me.
I will be sharing more about what I’m up to, what I’m thinking and what I’m consuming.
It’s not going to be SEO oriented or made to be pleasing to the eye. I feel like I’m creatively constipated so I’m just going to keep writing until I feel like I’m back to myself. ❤️
